About the customer
The Logicalis story began in 1997 when Datatec purchased Logical Networks plc, a UK networking company founded in 1988. From 1997 to 2000, Datatec expanded globally by acquiring more than 20 IT companies in Europe, America and Australasia. In 2001, Logicalis became the holding company for the operating companies of the Logicalis Group, fully owned by Datatec. In 2003, IBM made an unsolicited offer to acquire Logicalis' business in Australia and New Zealand, which was completed in March 2004. Since then, Logicalis has continued to acquire companies globally, focusing on IT integration solutions and enterprise networks."
Challenge
Deliver a solution for tracking laboratory test samples to one of the largest telecommunications operators in Brazil. The operator's objective is to offer this platform to the healthcare sector, more specifically clinical analysis laboratories.
Solution
Logicalis developed an application based on Eugenio, its Internet of Things (IoT) platform, to receive and correlate data from connected tubes with data from patients and requesting doctors, and had the support of ART IT to develop the entire interface of the demonstration kit and integrate it with Eugenio.

We develop an application
where it is possible to visualize all the functionalities that the future solution can offer to laboratories and demonstrate what sample tracking would be like in a real situation.
